So why should you incorporate a funded Proposal into your Network Marketing Business? Let me just tell you my story on how I discovered how the top Network Marketers in various Network Marketing Companies were making six and seven figures a year.

When I joined a Network Marketing Company, I was told to make a list of my friends and family members. I was told to talk to everyone I knew about the business opportunity and try to convince them to join. I spent a lot of time only to get a bunch of no responses along with questions like, “ Is this a Pyramid Scheme?” and comments like “your uncle bob was in one of those pyramid scams and it didn’t work”. I didn’t take me long until I blew through my warm market.

Next, I bought and cold called leads. It was very frustrating since many of the numbers were disconnected. Most of the ones that I got a hold of were not interested or only opted in for a free laptop or vacation. Others made every objection and excuse under the sun. I got comments like the ones that I got from my friends and family members. I was spending more money than I was making.

So I started doing some online research to see how those powerhouse network marketers were making six and seven figures a year. Low and behold, I discovered Mike Dillard’s attraction marketing course Magnetic Sponsoring which taught me about Self Branding, Generating my own leads and making money from those leads even if they never joined your business through a funded proposal. Now that’s how the Heavy Hitters do it.

The way a funded proposal works is you sell an inexpensive, but extremely valuable product on the front end and then back end the real product or service (Your opportunity). This is a great way to make money from your prospect up front before they even look at your primary business. That is a lot easier than laboring on the phone for hours and only making money off 2-5% of them. This can be done on autopilot through an Autoresponder like AWeber.

A funded proposal is supposed to cover your advertising costs while building up that residual check. It is not meant to be a revenue stream in itself, but it can be. I use the money I generate from my funded proposal programs to further fund my advertising.

You can set up your own funded proposal. I have to warn you that if you create your own funded proposal, it had better be good and worth more money than you are charging for it.

In order for you to make money online, you need to be marketing something that is in demand. If you try to sell something that is not in demand, then you will end up making little to no money.

You need to have a target market as well. Your target market could be broad or narrow. A broad target market could include people looking to start a home based business or making extra money from home. A smaller nich could include stay at home moms, professionals and network marketers.

Personal branding is also important because people are not just buying the product. They are actually buying you. You want to present yourself and your website in a way so that people will want to do business with you as opposed to someone else. Of course you can market a company replicated website, but you will not stand out from the crowd if you do it that way. You want to also include a selling proposition.

Generating traffic is very critical and one of your biggest obstacles as an online marketer. There are many ways that you can generate traffic, but you can get overwhelmed with all the methods that you could use to generate it. You need to start out with a couple of methods until you have mastered them.

Once you have been able to generate traffic to your website, you will need a way to capture your visitor’s information including name, email address and phone #. You should offer a free gift such as training. You will want to do that with an autoresponder like AWeber so that you can automatically follow up with them promoting multiple educational low-cost products.

You will also need to work on improving your conversion rate. You will convert a certain percentage of Traffic to Leads and then a certain percentage of Leads to paying customers. At first you might convert at a 10% rate. So you would convert 10 out of every 100 visitors. As you get better, you could increase your conversion rate to 20% meaning you will double your conversion to 20 out of 100 visitors. With a higher conversion, you will make more money putting in the same amount of effort.

You might decide to create a new product that you can sell to people and make money. You can recruit affiliates to market and sell your product if you end up creating your own product.

You will want to have products with a recurring revenue stream so you will not have to keep working as hard to recruit new people. In addition you will also want to have multiple streams of income. you can promote multiple streams of income by promoting products through an auto responder and marketing system.

Furthermore, joint ventures can be created so that you can market and sell each other’s products and share each others databases.

By following these 10 steps, you will have success with making money online from home.
