If you want to have massive success in your network marketing business, you will need to have the mindset of a millionaire. People who have success in network marketing and make five figures a month and six figures a year have the mindset of a millionaire. They have developed that mindset way before making six figures a month. They have a strong why, set goals and achieved those goals by following a game plan. They focused on one company while others jumped from company to company and stuck to one marketing method while others tried everything under the sun.

Maintaining the mindset of a millionaire requires dedication and effort. You need to be focused on what you have instead of what you don’t have. For Example, you should be thankful that you have a place to sleep and that you can afford to put food on the table. Too many people in the world that don’t have those things.

Too many people who have those things focus on what they don’t have, get frustrated and end up getting nowhere. When you focus on what you have, you will be a happier person and will attract more abundance.

Every morning, you should take time to write down five things you are thankful for and five things that you want to achieve in your business. Writing these things down will help you to focus on what you have and what you want to achieve. It will reinforce what you are thankful for and lead you to abundance.

It is also important to find out what your WHY is, write it down and put it where you can see it every day. Your Why is always different from other people. Your why could be to become more financially independent, have a better life style for your family, put your children through college, etc. Those things are what will motivate you to set goals and achieve those goals.

The goals that you want to set for yourself should include both short-term and long-term goals and action plans and deadlines to achieve those goals. Short-term goals should be goals that you want to achieve in 90 days or less. Long-term goals are goals that you will want to achieve within a year. An action plan should be made to achieve those goals and deadlines should be set so that you don’t procrastinate taking action. Keep in mind that the goals that you set should be reasonable and attainable. You want to set a goal to make $1,000/month before you set a goal to make $5,000/month.

When many people get started in network marketing, they tend to jump from company to company since they are hoping that the next company that they join will give them the success that they are looking for. This is a huge mistake since it is not the company that is causing them to struggle. It is them because they lack the skills and mindset necessary to have massive success. Instead of spending money to join another company, you should invest the money in education and training.

Finally you should find a marketing method that you are comfortable with and stick with it until you have mastered it. Too many people will try one method and find that they are not getting the results they want and move on to another method. They are spreading themselves thin and are not giving themselves a chance to learn how to master that method. If you stick with a method that you are comfortable with, you will eventually see results.

David Wood recently did a webinar about article marketing and how you can use articles to drive massive amounts of traffic to your website. During his first two months marketing online, he generated 650 leads, got 600+ visitors to his blog and signed up 5 new reps into his business. He did this all through content marketing using articles and videos. He did not have to spend any money to generate traffic and leads.

But before marketing online David Wood got involved in network marketing 7 years ago with a company called Amway. He did everything the old school way. He pestered friends and family, cold called leads, held home and hotel meeting and went door to door. He had three years of frustration in that company. He then got involved in another Network Marketing company and recruited all his Amway people into that company. He made $1,200 in his first two weeks but his income went back to zero very quickly.

He then ran into another company where someone taught him about systems, duplication and working as a team. He then built that company up for a couple of years. However, he ignored the business for one year when he moved to Hawaii with his wife. His income dwindled again.

When he decided to get back into network marketing, he wanted to do things differently. He was tired of having home and hotel meetings and using other old school methods of marketing.  So he looked online and saw on YouTube someone who was using MLM Lead System Pro principles to drive traffic and boost Search Engine Rankings.

David Wood implemented a four-step content promotion strategy where did the following four steps to drive traffic to his blog.

  1. Creating an original Article on his blog
  2. Bookmarking that Article on his blog
  3. Promoting that Article on his blog through video sharing sites
  4. Submitting to Article directories, which promoted the article on his blog

He explained that there are four principles that you need to follow when promoting your content to boost your search engine rankings.

  1. Your Article needs to be relevant. It needs to specifically be about the audience you are targeting. If your article’s title is about Video marketing, then the article’s body should talk about video marketing and not some other subject.
  2. You need to create back links to that original Article which should be on your website or blog. The websites with the most back links are the websites that are on the first page of Google. So you need to create back links to that original piece of content through social book marking, Videos and articles.
  3. The Article that you are promoting needs to be unique and original. Google likes original content and will rank your content higher if it is original. You don’t want to just copy an article word for word since that will hurt your rankings.
  4. You need to be consistent. Many people when they start to market online try posting articles, for example, and after a couple of articles, they do not see any results so the quit that method and move onto something else. You just need to find a method and stick with it until you see results. It might take some time, but will be well worth it when you start seeing results.

By following these four principles, you will see results and your bank account will explode.

Facebook marketing is a great way to grow your network marketing business if it is done the right way and on a consistent basis. Depending on your time schedule, you should spend about an hour or two a day on Facebook. This time should be spent adding friends and writing on walls of friends and groups. You should not market your primary business on Facebook since no one cares about your primary business. You should just build relationships and provide value to people.

Your Facebook marketing game plan should start out with adding between 20-30 friends per day from a network marketing related group.  You don’t want to add more than 30 friends since you want to build a relationship with the friends you add. If you use an automated friend adding tool, which I don’t recommend, you will quickly reach the 5,000 Facebook friend limit. You want to have quality of friends over quantity of friends.

When adding friends you should send them a brief message. You will usually get a  better response rate if you send them a message. Here is an example of a message that you could use:

Hi First Name

I saw you in the _________ group. I am a network marketer looking to meet and network with new people. Feel free to check out my profile and add me as a friend

Your Name

When they accept your friend request, you should write on their wall thanking them for accepting your request and showing that you are interested in them. You can also post a 20-30 second welcome video on their wall which you can record from your web cam. You should do the same thing when people add you as a friend.

You should also join some large network marketing related groups. People from those groups will also add you as a friend since they will see you in those groups. You should post valuable information on three group walls a day. Don’t try to sell your primary business or spam.

One last marketing strategy you could do is start a network marketing related group. This is a great way to brand yourself as a leader and build relationships and trust with your prospects. When you have a group, you appear to be an expert to other Facebook users. They assume that you know what you are doing and know how to use Facebook. When you start a group, you can invite all your friends and message the group members about important updates.

I just started a network marketing blog because I realized the benefits that blogs have for network marketers. Blogging is crucial if you are a network marketer and want to make it big in network marketing.

One of the most important benefits of having a blog, especially for short-term purposes, is to provide a “safe” place for your prospects to visit. You will build trust with your prospects since they will read the valuable content that you post and read about you. They will get to know you better and more likely put their contact information in your opt in form.

Your blog will also brand and position you as an expert since you will be posting valuable content for your visitors. Branding is the image you put out to the market. Its the difference between looking like a professional and having a real business verses looking like you don’t know what you are doing. Your blog will position yourself as an expert in the network marketing industry. It is just like going to a bookstore and reading a well written book. They see that author as an expert. The same thing applies to having a good blog.

The third reason for having a blog is to amplify your list building efforts. Since your blog will provide a “Safe” Place where you can gain your prospect’s trust, brand you as a professional and position you as an expert, you will get a lot more leads, especially from the social networks. On social networks like Facebook and Twitter, you don’t want to send people to a lead capture page. Sending people to a blog is much more effective since they will learn more about you and see what kind of leader and expert your are.

The fourth benefit is that your blog will build equity for you. Over time, you will build up a lot of content. If you post an article once a week or even every day, for a year, you will have hundreds of articles full of valuable content and your blog will have higher search engine rankings. This means more traffic, leads and sign ups for your network marketing business.
